Adventures at USM M.M. Roberts Stadium

Go Eagles!

We finally did it. Made it to the top of the football stadium to get some pics of Hattiesburg and USM. Ball and I walked onto the field without problem and got pics from both sides. The sunset was not all that beautiful because there was not many clouds in the sky but we did get some interesting pics...
THE ROCK
The clouds had a dark underside to them that day, and were amazing witht the sunshine as a back lite (see below).Hard to get a shot with the Mr. Sun shinning in your face...got to wait until it goes behind Mr. Cloud.

Here's a good pic of our new eagle logo (that resembles Iowa States), and our new artifical turf that keeps our field from turning into a mudhole.
Here's a good shot of the whole stadium and the new athletic dept. building that hosts Jeff Bower's office and weight training facilities for the football players (only?)
This is pic of Montague Blvd. that runs onto Southern's campus.

This is the Administrative Building that is shaped like a dome. This is the office of the president of the university.
Sunseting on Hattiesburg.
Here's a moving pic of the Payne center. Pretty much just a fashion show in there, not a whole lot of excersing going on.
